William King & Associates will be conducting a 7-hour, National
Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Update class
on Monday, 03/02/2009 in Anchorage, AK. The class is approved for 7 hours continuing education
credit for appraisers by the Washington State Department of Licensing
Appraiser Section, the Oregon Appraiser Certification and Licensure
Board, and the Alaska Division of of Occupational licensing. (Washington
State DOL can be reached at 360-664-6504 for questions, Oregon at
503-485-2555, and Alaska at 907-465-2534).
Specifically, this course focuses on this year's changes to the
2006 USPAP. Also, it highlights some of the more important changes
over the last couple of years. The Uniform Standards of Professional
Appraisal Practice sets standards for both ethical behavior and
competent performance for appraisers.
Cost for the 1-day program is $235.00 if prepaid by Friday, 02/20/2009, and $255.00 after Friday, 02/20/2009 or at the door. Class size is limited to 30, and subject
to cancellation if enrollment is insufficient. The enrollment fee will include your USPAP 2008 booklet and student manual. Lunch is not included. Additional copies of the 2006 USPAP Update textbooks
are available for $22.00 plus sales tax.
